Custom-made AP

Simply get a USB WIFI adapter, any brand will be fine, as long as you can swap this WIFI with AP and Node mode. I use Storm USB wireless card.

Attached the USB and a usb extension cable, for wide range use, cos this satellite is too big, and i attached it on the panel.

I don't want people to get me wrong, i remove the previous device attached on it and replace it with my wireless card. And the cable will be lying straight not like what you see now. This is a dispose satellite by my friends' friends. So ASTRO, please don blame me on using it.

The USB cable connected to computer and tested it raised up a lot on signal, but on how many DBi i really don't know. Maybe someone can give me some software to test it? i know it work perfect as previous connected WIFI product show "good" status on the wireless connection where now is "excellent". I will try more with this kind of method, who said it wouldn't work? You never try you never know. There is a bunch of people using this method and philology in here http://www.usbwifi.orcon.net.nz/

Yet another tortured CPU....

From the outer look, it seems it is not extremely "choked" right? Consider a normal dust blocked air flow of a CPU fan and heatsink right?
When i took off the fan, can a clear view now? the dust have been united there for quite sometime i think, no wonder the CPU system running slower and slower now. It's too hot and affected the nearby transistors been swollen. Conclusion is that the motherboard will not be function well, and kicking system to be restarting always. But for this case, the CPU is burn too...pity for my customer. I don't want this to be happened too...

Old Time Toy Story

A ball plastic cover with special toy inside.

Open the case, a toy model gun! Awesome~!

Reading the instructions and fix up the model gun, even come with the plastic bullet. Entertainment level is only 8/10. I get bored with this toy in less than 5 minutes. But it only costs RM0.50 each, it is just the fun when you fixing up the part and the time you spin the machine to get this toy.

Dead of a CPU

Definitely a lots of people will ask, "What the heck is that?" Well, a lot of people doesn't know what is this because every time they use computer they only see a cube box casing and they call it CPU.

The picture shown above is the Heatsink of a CPU, the has a fans on the top of it, i just removed it, because it is dusted. And the air-flow cannot be done, so heat will be generate and lastly the CPU is "cooked". Too hot, you can flied an egg on top of it, around 55C - 65C. Trying to wake the processor up but no help, moreover it has burn marked on it, mean warranty will not be covered anymore.

I should said sorry for this careless customer, forgot to check on their CPU fans whether their heatsink is covered by dusk or not. Can't agree more customer always don't know what should they have to be done, until they faced the problem before then they will learned.

Pentium 4 2.8 HT Processor......please R.I.P.

Future Virtual Keyboard

The Future Virtual Keyboard comes with leather pouch

The Comparison of the size between palm keyboard and Belkin Networking hub.
The Virtual Keyboard shot out the laser screen on the surface, compare with actual keyboard

This is how it look like when you using the VK, but it will be slightly different from the normal keyboard.

A red laser projecting the keyboard beams from the top with the power supply at the lower left and reset settings on the bottom right. Latency settings allow for auto-shutoff if unused; if the unit is picked up, a sensor on the bottom automatically powers it down. The extended projection window/keyboard size was 3.5" x 11" with the VKB approximately 7.5" back from the opening projection line. In contrast, the space profile for the Belkin foldable was 3 5/8" x 10.5" and the thumb board simply attached to the PDA.

The VKB projects a QWERTY interface but users will find some of the keys are in the wrong place. This requires modification of one's typing style to suit the projection/setup. Tactile feedback a user receives from a typical keyboard is absent and takes some getting used to. At times I would find myself on the wrong keys and would have to look down in order to get the proper mount back. My typing did improve after spending some time with the unit but I found I had to constantly go back, edit and correct entries.

Information Taken From Tom's Hardware Preview.

MS-Mo Siang Online Game

Another great online game distributed by Malaysian for Malaysian. Game features with old fashion style of action, the kung fu that have been forgotten by a lot of people. Or so called in some of the great novel from HongKong Novel writer, "Jing Yong".

I am addicted to this game too, and keep up level of the character and i am using "Dao". It took longer time to increase your level as you getting higher. Those who not online game will think that we spend too much time to play online game, but as so far as i know a game id with level 40 above it could be sold with price around MYR400~MYR600. So don't look down on those who playing games, but of course for those only will know how to fetch the correct way for it.

Well, off me go for leveling my character again~ =.="

This is how the RC heli look like, size is 4" inches wide, 1" inches width and 2" inches height, light weight.
The installed motor, simple and easy. don't even know how can they fit the receiver in there.
The RC, for me it look very bulky, did not reach the standard of RC, but since this is cheap and not many installation needed to use, okay lah. Price is RM99.90, RM100 still got 10 cents change. Not bad huh?
